NEA National Leadership Conference 2016

OEA will fund up to $1,200 for one person, per district to attend the Summit.  For more information on the Summit, please access the NEA website at http://www.nea.org/leadershipsummit.

OEA will use direct-billing for airfare, hotel (rate $217.84 per night) and registration (valued at $225) and will also reimburse for meals up to the difference between these items and $1,200 per scholarship recipient.  Some meals and snacks are covered as part of the Summit program (valued over $250).

Saturday, February 27
6:30 — 8:00 am Breakfast

8:15 am Agenda starts, and will include:

  • General Sessions III & IV
  • Breakout Sessions II & III
  • Open Space Networking & Caucuses
  • Lunch

5:00 pm Projected Close of Day
Participants will have dinner on their own this evening.

Sunday, February 28
6:30 — 7:45 am Breakfast

  • Breakout Session IV

11:15 am Projected Close of Day

Early registration fee:  $225 (December 1 — December 31, 2015); late, $300 (January 1, 2016 — January 22, 2016).  No registration will be accepted beyond January 22.

Hotel overnight room charge:  $189 ($149 single/double room rate, plus taxes)
